Tips to beating the heat, Seattle style!

We made it through the longest heat wave in Seattle! Wohoo! Our house was getting up to 86 or so. We had to change up the routine a bit. Here are our tips:

Eat most meals outside (it helps to make some popsicles):

Eat at a rare air conditioned restaurant. Our newest favorite restaurant U:Don in Capital Hill. SO good we had to dance!

Also, this lil man just started school full time! I am still in shock. It has only been one week, but look how happy he is to be there! We have to find special time for Mama and Jonen days now.

    Our grandbaby is getting to be a big boy!!! Jonen, is so happy!! Bethany and Brandon are such “GREAT” parents! Love Mom(Grandma Darlene)
